The longest government shutdown in US history concluded after 43 days as President Donald TRUMP signed a funding bill into law. The House approved the measure in a 222–209 vote, restoring federal operations and backpay for thousands of employees. Critical services nationwide resumed operations following the Oval Office signing at 9:45 PM ET.

The White House framed the resolution as a Republican victory, accusing Democrats of attempting to "extort billions from taxpayers for illegal aliens." Market observers noted muted cryptocurrency reactions to the political development, with Bitcoin and Ethereum maintaining recent ranges amid broader macro uncertainty.
